Tottenham fans celebrate as key player spotted back in training with full fit to battle Everton

Tottenham return to Premier League action on Monday night, away at Everton, and the North London club could have a key player in their squad available for the match at Goodison Park.

Hugo Lloris has returned to training after a long layoff due to a knee injury suffered during the North London club’s win over Manchester City in February, but it is unclear whether the goalkeeper will play against Everton, according to the Evening Standard.

Lloris’ return will be a boost for the Spurs squad because he is a senior figure in the squad and will help them rally after a difficult week.

Tottenham fired Antonio Conte this week and are now concerned about what will happen to their sporting director, Fabio Paratici.

According to Sky Sports, the Italian was given a 30-month ban from participating in Italian Football Federation activities as part of an investigation into alleged financial mismanagement at Juventus – a ban that has now been extended globally.

Tottenham have had a busy week and will be relieved to have their captain back in the squad, despite his recent form.
