Spurs’ squad is taking shape ahead of Ange Postecoglou’s first Premier League season, with a frenzy of transfer activity – and a frantic push to keep superstar Harry Kane.
Tottenham has already completed deals for goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and their top target, £40 million ($A76m) Leicester midfielder James Maddison, as well as making Dejan Kulusevski’s loan contract permanent.
They are now nearing an agreement with Israel winger Manor Solomon.According to Fabrizio Romano, a five-year contract has been agreed upon for the 23-year-old attacker, who scored five goals in 24 loan appearances at Fulham.
Fulham were apparently interested in making his contract permanent, but the Australian boss appears to have beaten them to the punch and secured the gifted youngster.
Meanwhile, Spurs are allegedly close to signing Micky van de Ven, a 22-year-old versatile back who played in all but one Bundesliga match for Wolfsburg last season. Liverpol were also interested in the player, but Tottenham appear to have won the race with a £30 million ($A57 million) bid.
