Tottenham managed to get two more deals online after EPL window shut on September 1

The summer transfer window in England slammed shut on September 1, but Tottenham have managed to get two more deals over line since

Tottenham have managed to finalise two more deals after the summer transfer window deadline on Friday evening. The Lilywhites welcomed several big names to Hotspur Way, with likes of James Maddison and Micky van de Ven joining Ange Postecoglou’s side.

However, while Daniel Levy managed to significantly bolster the north London outfit, he appeared to have bit off more than he could chew with numerous Tottenham players still left looking for a new club on September 2. But, luckily for Spurs’ want-away stars, they’ve finally been granted departures.

understands that Tanguy Ndombele is heading to Galatasaray on loan, which includes an option to make the deal permanent. It’s said that the Turkish outfit are also in talks to sign Davinson Sanchez on a permanent deal, however – for now – it remains to be seen how much Spurs could recuperate from their exits.

Postecoglou sanctioned both players’ departures,  understands, with the duo surplus to requirements under the Australian’s regime. While there may be some confusion as to how Tottenham can complete the two deals, Super Lig clubs – like Galatasaray – can still make signings before the deadline on Friday, September 15.

Interestingly, the Turkish summer transfer window ends a week after the Saudi Arabian window, which has caused quite the stir lately. Plenty of Premier League managers have voiced their concern with foreign transfer windows ending days after the English one.

Two of whom have been Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta. At the start of last month, the Liverpool boss said: “The influence of Saudi Arabia is massive at the moment. Pretty much the worst thing is that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia is open three weeks longer.

“If I am right, I heard something like that, then at least in Europe that’s not helpful. Uefa or Fifa must find solutions for that. It’s already influential for us but we will have to learn to deal with it.”
