Tottenham Hotspur are likely to pay Galatasaray’s asking price for full-back Sacha Boey, who is 22 years old.
According to Aksam, Tottenham Hotspur are very close to getting Sacha Boey’s services. The 22-year-old full-back has created a name for himself with strong performances over the last year, and Spurs have been interested in him for some time.
Last season, the London team did not have the best of seasons. They are also looking to strengthen their roster in order to eventually break their trophy drought.
They struggled in defense last time out, and new manager Ange Postecoglou wants to strengthen their backline. He wants to bring in a central defender as well as a full-back.
Spurs have their sights set on Sacha Boey for the full-back position. The French defender, 22, came up through the ranks at Rennes. But things didn’t go well for him at the French club, so he moved to Turkey.
He joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2021 and has progressed steadily since then.In the 2022-23 season, the French Under-21 star appeared in 33 games and contributed five goals.
His outstanding contribution in both defense and attack has piqued the interest of many clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. They have made a significant bid and are on the verge of getting his services.
Tottenham are interested in signing Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey and Victor Nelsson. The Turkish club has wanted €50 million for the pair. While discussions for Nelsson are still ongoing, there has been a significant breakthrough in the pursuit of Boey’s services.
The Turkish club refused to reduce their asking price. As a result, Spurs are prepared to meet their expectations, and the transaction should be finalized within the next few days.
