Tottenham Hotspur fans may have many pieces of news to look forward to in the coming days.
Spurs appear to be getting closer to a number of acquisitions, but they may also lose Harry Kane.
With the latter, we’ll have to cross that bridge when we get to it.
To keep things optimistic, Tottenham are said to have reached an agreement with one of their main defensive targets.
Several news agencies have stated that Micky van de Ven will join Tottenham Hotspur in the coming days.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham is anticipated to pay an initial €30 million, which might increase to €50 million.
That equates to approximately £25.9 million up front and approximately £17.3 million in add-ons for a total of £43.2 million.
Van de Ven is also said to be “really keen” on moving to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to Sky Sports.
Later in the day, Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg delivered an update.
Van de Ven “will join Spurs” on a contract until 2028 or 2029, he claimed, after reaching “total agreement” with Wolfsburg.
It’s fantastic to hear that Tottenham are close to signing Van de Ven.
Everything points to this deal going well, and hopefully it won’t be long before the Spurs announce him.
Van de Ven is a top player who will be an excellent addition to Tottenham’s squad.
He has been described as a ‘amazing’ talent, with a ‘lightning-fast’ pace and exceptional ball-carrying talents.
Van de Ven, who is 6ft 4in and is compared to Virgil van Dijk, is also a behemoth of a player.
