Tottenham release list of seven star players leaving the club on free transfer this summer

Tottenham Hotspur have revealed which players will leave the club on free transfers after their contracts expire this summer.

After a difficult season under Antonio Conte, who resigned in March and was replaced by assistant Cristian Stellini, then coach Ryan Mason, new coach Ange Postecoglou is seeking to usher the team into a new era.

The Australian manager has already signed goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, Leicester playmaker James Maddison, and Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent basis.

Spurs will now start sorting out their exits, starting with a list of seven players who will be leaving the club.

The headliner on his way out is a Brazilian forward who was previously with PSG and has been a fan favorite over his five years in north London.

Lucas Moura will leave on a free transfer, finishing up a spectacular tenure at Spurs in which he scored a hat-trick against Ajax in the Champions League semi-final in 2019, catapulting Spurs into the final with a 3-2 victory.

He has scored 39 goals in 221 appearances for Spurs since arriving from PSG for £25 million in 2018.

Meanwhile, Romain Mundle, a talented Spurs prospect, is on his way out.

The 20-year-old winger turned down a new contract with Tottenham and has now joined Belgian club Standard Liege.

The remaining players discharged are Jamie Bowden, Kallum Cesay, Malachi Fagan-Walcott, Roshaun Mathurin, and Marqes Muir from the development squad.
