Tottenham star made a big decision on his future as striker gives Bayern new deadline in role reversal

According to a reliable source, Tottenham star Harry Kane has made a significant choice about his future at the club after Bayern rejected another offer for him.

Bayern Munich has chosen Kane as their main target to bolster their center-forward options. Before entering into talks with Tottenham, Bayern hoped to get the England captain for a lower fee because he was nearing the end of his contract.

Tottenham, on the other hand, is notoriously difficult to negotiate with when it comes to selling their finest players, as Bayern recently discovered.

Spurs have had proposals for Kane for £60 million and £70 million rejected, with the club still hoping for £100 million for their talisman.

Bayern, on the other hand, has only been willing to offer up to £75-85 million so far. If Kane is to leave England for Germany during the current transfer window, a solution must be reached.

According to recent reports, Bayern has given Spurs until Friday, August 4 to make a definitive decision on whether or not to trade Kane. If they did not answer, the Bundesliga giants were expected to withdraw from negotiations.

However, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, this was merely a soft deadline, and Bayern remain interested in the 30-year-old. The Athletic reported on Monday that Spurs have rejected Bayern Munich’s latest offer for Kane.

The Telegraph has now published the most recent information on Kane’s negotiations with Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur. They claim that Thomas Tuchel’s side is planning one final make-or-break bid to entice Spurs into a big-money trade.

Despite Bayern Munich’s interest, Harry Kane is glad to stay at Tottenham.

The article also describes Kane’s reaction to the issue. In a role reversal, the goalscorer has set his own deadline for Bayern. He has stated that if Bayern are to sign him, they must do it before Spurs kick off their Premier League season against Brentford on Sunday at 2pm.

If Bayern fail to strike an agreement with Spurs before then, Kane will remain in North London for the remaining year of his contract. While it has previously been claimed that Kane wants to join Bayern this season, The Telegraph reports that he does not want talks to derail Spurs’ start to the season under new manager Ange Postecoglou. And he is still content to play one more year for Spurs before weighing up his options in summer 2024.

Spurs fans will be pleased that Kane has given Bayern a firm deadline and that he is now content to stay put. Many transfer sagas have harmed the selling club in the past, but Kane does not want this to happen to Tottenham Hotspur.

Postecoglou deserves respect for how he handled the matter. When asked about Kane, he has declined to get drawn into the subject, instead allowing Bayern and Tottenham officials to get on with their jobs.

Postecoglou also appears content to rely on Richarlison if Kane is forced to leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Richarlison scored a hat-trick in a recent friendly to help Spurs win 5-1.
