Tottenham on the verge of hiring a manager whom Mikel Arteta describes as incredible

Tottenham Hotspur are rumored to be interested in Brentford manager Thomas Frank ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to TalkSPORT writer Alex Crook, the Bees are expecting a deal for Frank from Spurs.

Antonio Conte left Tottenham by mutual consent in March, and the north London club is now ramping up its search for a new manager.

Of course, Spurs gave Cristian Stellini the job before he was replaced by Ryan Mason following a devastating defeat against Newcastle United.

However, Tottenham will be eager to get the next manager in place before the summer, and it appears that Frank is being considered.

The 49-year-old has won many fans this season after leading Brentford to a successful second season in the Premier League.

And previously this season, Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta praised the Danish manager.

Arteta praised Frank for the ‘amazing’ job he’s done so far at his news conference ahead of Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Brentford back in September.

“I think he’s done an incredible job with himself and the coaching staff,” stated Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

“The club, their clarity, philosophy, and vision, and how they’ve carried it out, how they’re always evolving… I believe they deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve accomplished.”

It’s no surprise that Tottenham is interested in Frank after his stellar performance against Brentford.

He appears to be a strong fit for Tottenham due to his style of play and, more importantly, his ability to operate within a limited budget.

Daniel Levy is under growing scrutiny from Spurs fans after failing to pursue a transfer for Julian Nagelsmann, while Mauricio Pochettino is set to join Chelsea.

Frank is not the most well-known name on Tottenham’s managerial wish list, but he is an intriguing prospect with Premier League experience.
