Tottenham Hotspur are apparently preparing to transfer Ryan Sessegnon, a player Mauricio Pochettino praised highly during his time as Spurs manager.
According to The Telegraph, new Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou is “looking to offload” Ryan Sessegnon during the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur, in our opinion, should not rush to sell Ryan Sessegnon during the summer transfer window.
Yes, the English youth has had a difficult time at Spurs since moving from Fulham in 2019, but he is still only 23 years old.
Sessegnon has time on his side and has the potential to improve.
In September 2019, Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino, currently the manager of Chelsea, rated the 23-year-old as “a great talent” in The London Evening Standard.
Furthermore, Sessegnon is a flexible player who can play left defender, left winger, or midfield.
We believe that new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou should work with Sessegnon in preseason to see how he performs.
After all, the teenager has had a difficult time dealing with injury issues and managerial changes at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Sessegnon is a very excellent player who did well at Fulham, and we believe he can return to that level.
