Lucá Williams-Barnett can become Tottenham superstar after ‘stunning’ thing he did on Saturday
Spurs’ Under-18s have struggled to perform consistently, losing two, drawing two and winning three of their opening seven Under-18 Premier League matches.
However, despite the teams’ up-and-down form, one player has been on fire from minute one this season.
That player is Williams-Barnett, with the 16-year-old schoolboy player playing his first full season with the Under-18s.
And despite a lack of experience at this level, he has arguably been one of the best, if not the best, players in the entire Under-18 Premier League so far this season.
He once again demonstrated his superstar quality as Spurs were beaten 4-2 by West Ham’s Under-18s in the Under-18 Premier League at Little Heath Sports Ground on Saturday (19 October).

Despite his team losing, Williams-Barnett could leave the pitch with his head held high after scoring twice for the visitors, including one “stunning” effort to open the scoring in the London derby.
That made it five goals in just two games after the young winger had scored a hattrick against Manchester United’s Under-18s in a 4-3 Under-18 Premier League Cup victory at Hotspur Way on Saturday 5 October.
Not since Mikey Moore has an academy player made this kind of devastating impact at Under-18 level, which is bound to excite Tottenham fans.
Moore didn’t take long to find himself in the first-team picture in North London. Therefore, if Williams-Barnett continues on this trajectory, he could find himself in a similar position.
And if his current form is anything to go by, he has the potential to really explode at Tottenham.
