The Tennessee Titans had the AFC South to lose in 2024, but they ended up watching the playoffs from the sidelines. After such a disappointing season, there was no other choice for the Titans’ front office but to blow it all up and rebuild.
The first order of business they must take care of is the free agency period, where they must let some long-time players walk. While Terry McCormick of Main Street Media of Tennessee explained the possible releases as gently as possible, some of these departures would be bittersweet for many Titans fans. Longtime quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be departing the team in 2023, according to McCormick, following a lackluster performance:
After Will Levis sustained his second ankle injury in as many seasons, someone in the organization chose to start the rebuilding process right away because they liked what they saw in him. Because of his professional handling of the circumstance, Tannehill will leave for another location in 2024 in the hopes of being given the opportunity to play as a starter.
In his lone season with the Tennessee Titans, Tannehill only appeared in ten games but completed 65 percent of his passes for 1618 yards and four touchdowns.
