SAD NEWS: Milwaukee Bucks key player announced to leave

It seems unlikely that the Bucks will host an NBA All-Star Weekend.

It was a fairly easy process in the past.

With the understanding that they will host an NBA All-Star game and weekend in the future, a city and a team construct a new arena. Now, with Milwaukee, that assurance might not hold true.

The minimum number of hotel rooms, the size of a convention center, and the number of nonstop and international flights were all first reported by the Oklahoman newspaper.

Milwaukee would no longer be eligible for these new requirements, according to an NBA spokesperson. Milwaukee is attempting to secure the 2027 or 2028 game, as the booking for the game is through 2026.

On August 27, 2018, TMJ4’s Lance Allan had a conversation with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver regarding the issue.

“There haven’t been any announcements yet,” Adam Silver stated while visiting Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. “Peter Feigin, though, I know.” He can now focus on a different project. Undoubtedly, an All-Star game will soon take place.”

Lance Allan inquires as to Silver’s classification of it and the probability of an All-Star game taking place at Fiserv Forum.

According to Silver, “it’s very likely to happen at some point.” We make a point of visiting new venues, though I can’t pinpoint a specific year for it. It follows that other cities are undoubtedly vying for All-Stars. We’re definitely going to have an All-Star game here, even though some of them stood in line before Fiserv Forum.”

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, Peter Feigin, the president of the Bucks, plans to request an exemption from the new regulations.
