Fresh from reaching the Final Four last season, FAU students and fans created a raucous atmosphere at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena and were always a thorn in Tulane’s side.
This was especially true for college swim teams.
Beneath the basket, in the front row, a member of the Florida Atlantic swim team decided to use a rather interesting tactic to distract her free throw shooter from Green’s wave. And it worked.
Coming into the game, Tulane shot 73 percent from the free throw line. He only succeeded 58% in this match.
