According to a report, AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make a couple of changes to the starting lineup for the game against Empoli compared to the team that defeated Empoli.
According to MilanNews, Pioli will stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation and nine of the 11 players, including Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, and Theo Hernandez in the back. Simon Kjaer, on the other hand, will be rested, and Malick Thiaw is expected to return.
The midfield pairing is expected to be Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic, with Ismael Bennacer slightly ahead of them as the ‘No.10’. Rafael Leao should start on the left, Alexis Saelemaekers on the right, and Olivier Giroud up front.
