The Rossoneri are ready to join the Nerazzurri in tracking the 21-year-old England youth international, who is currently on loan at Reims and would cost €20-25 million, according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter and Milan are both likely to look for an attacking signing during the summer transfer window.
Balogun has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for some time now, as they are aware that the uncertain futures of Romelu Lukaku, Joaquin Correa, and Edin Dzeko beyond the end of this season may necessitate the signing of a new forward.
In the meantime, the Rossoneri have joined their city rivals in their pursuit of the 21-year-old.
Balogun has been on loan from Arsenal to Reims in Ligue 1 this season, where his 17 goals in all competitions have really caught the eye.
According to the Gazzetta, the striker’s asking price will be no less than €20-25 million, and it remains to be seen whether Inter or Milan are willing to meet this demand.
