According to a report, AC Milan could strengthen their right side with a free transfer as agent Jorge Mendes seeks a new club for Adama Traore.
According to Calciomercato.com, Mendes is expected to meet with Milan’s technical director Paolo Maldini soon to discuss a number of names ranging from Marco Asensio to Manuel Ugarte, and Traore’s name could be mentioned.
According to the source, Mendes is pushing the winger to join Serie A in the summer rather than returning to La Liga, where he spent time on loan with Barcelona, or to another Premier League club.
The 27-year-old’s contract expires on June 30, meaning he is free to sign a pre-contract with a club outside of England, though the Rossoneri may face competition because he is also a transfer target for Napoli.
Traore has two Premier League goals in 23 appearances this season after scoring just one in 20 games in the English top flight last season, as well as zero goals (and two assists) in LaLiga with Barcelona.
