What Amanda Staveley told the Newcastle dressing room after Bournemouth defeat

Newcastle United’s defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday was pretty bleak.

In arguably one of the worst performances of the Eddie Howe era at Newcastle, the Cherries emerged victorious with a 2-0 win.

Such was the disappointment, Kieran Trippier was involved in a heated exchange with a supporter after the game too.

As Alan Shearer noted after the full-time whistle, Newcastle were poor on the south coast.

Of course, the sheer number of injuries the team have suffered of late does not make things easy and context must be applied but there was little doubting Howe’s side were pretty poor.

Indeed, it seems Amanda Staveley had a message for the dressing room after the game.
