According to a source, AC Milan playmaker Charles De Ketelaere is attracting interest from abroad, and the club may opt to cash in.
The Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan) writes this morning about De Ketelaere, who could depart Milan in the summer transfer window barely a year after joining from Club Brugge.
The Belgian was the standout signing of the post-Scudetto summer window, but he has struggled to live up to expectations, failing to score a goal and providing only one assist in 40 appearances, 13 of which were starts.
Aston Villa are interested in signing the 22-year-old, who Unai Emery admires, but they are not alone, as RC Lens in France and RB Leipzig in Germany are also interested.
Milan appears willing to sell him, but they do not wish to incur a capital loss, thus they must recoup roughly €28 million.
