BREAKING : Bayern Munich set to sign Cristiano Ronaldo with two years contract

According to reports, businessman Markus Schon has contacted Bayern Munich about bringing the renowned forward to Germany.

Schon is said to be a major fan of Ronaldo’s and has expressed interest in assisting in bringing the star to the Allianz Arena. Though the star would have to take a wage cut to leave, he may be interested if he could add to his record-breaking haul of Champions League goals.

“It would be conceivable that we could undertake to pay a transfer fee or loan fee in excess of a basic amount to be defined if our company is clearly seen as ‘facilitating’ the difference,” Schon wrote, according to Abendzeitung (via Football Transfers ).

“In the event of a permanent commitment, we would expect a share of the proceeds from the jersey in order to limit our financial risk.”

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn has already dismissed speculation of the Bavarian giants pursuing Ronaldo – but with Bayern on the verge of losing their first title in a decade, perhaps their stance will alter if the money is right.

Despite Schon’s enthusiasm for the trade, it does not appear likely. Ronaldo appears to have never been on Bayern’s radar, and while manager Thomas Tuchel has plenty of experience dealing with large egos from his time at PSG, launching a move for CR7 in his late 30s is not the type of recruitment that Bayern have made in the past.
