There was a lot of action during Wednesday night’s high-octane showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers. Ultimately, it was the Bucks who secured a much-needed victory, 140-126, thanks to a career night by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
As it turns out, however, the emotions appear to have spilled over to the locker room after the game.
According to Bucks beat reporter Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Giannis and his brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, were seen heading out of the Pacers locker room after what seems to have been a heated confrontation with Tyrese Haliburton and Co.:“Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo just emerged from the tunnel that leads to the #Pacers locker room. Giannis was hot, talking to Tyrese Haliburton and Pacers staff when he came back out,” Owczarski wrote in his tweet.
As it turns out, Giannis wanted the game ball after scoring a career-high 64 points. The Pacers, however, took it to their locker room, which infuriated the Bucks talisman.Indiana Pacers took the game ball away after Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 64-point game. A furious Antetokounmpo took off for the Pacers’ locker room to attempt at retrieving the ball. It is unclear if he got the ball back.
