Your 4-6 Los Angeles Chargers have inked two new additions, with a date against the 8-3 Baltimore Ravens looming. Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports that, with linebacker Tanner Muse now officially on the team’s Injured Reserve list due to a knee issue, the Bolts have looked internally to replace him. Los Angeles has inked practice squad linebacker Blake Lynch to their active roster, while replacing him on its practice squad with edge rusher Ty Shelby. We knew Muse was likely to wind up on the IR after news leaked yesterday, so this isn’t entirely shocking information, though it is a bummer nevertheless. Why Tom is going with the Lions: If he plays, Justin Fields may have a productive day against a Lions defense that allowed 421 yards to the Chargers in Week 10 and 503 yards to the Ravens in Week 7. I’m not sure how much of a difference that will make, given that Chicago ranks 27th in points allowed and Detroit ranks sixth in points scored. The Bears were blown out by the Chargers the last time they met a club ranked in the top ten in scoring this season. The Lions win their fifth consecutive NFC North game.
