Northampton Town have announced they will host Championship side Norwich City in a pre-season friendly.
The Cobblers will take on the Canaries at home on 13th July 2024, in one of three friendlies so far confirmed for Jon Brady’s side ahead of the League One season.
The match will be a 3pm kick-off, with tickets now available from the official Northampton Town FC website.
Northampton will be taken on a Canaries side that finished 6th in last season’s Championship, but who suffered defeat in the play-offs to Leeds United.
Jon Brady’s Cobblers have been confirmed for three new friendlies ahead of the 2024/25 season, with Northampton also confirmed for friendlies against Brackley Town and Cheltenham Town as part of their pre-season programme.
Northampton will visit Brackley Town for a game at St James Park on Saturday 27th July, which will be a 3pm kick-off at the home of the National League North side.
The Cobblers’ final confirmed game so far of their pre-season run will come on Saturday 3rd August, taking place one week before the start of the new EFL season.
In that game, Northampton will travel to play Cheltenham, who were relegated from League One at the end of the 2023/24 season and will compete in League Two next season.
The game at Cheltenham’s Completely Suzuki Stadium will be a 3pm kick-off.
Any further pre-season friendlies will be confirmed by Northampton in due course.
