breaking news Ravens Defensive Coach Sends A Big Warning To NFL QBs

The Baltimore Ravens continue to prove that they are a top team in the AFC.

With a record of 9-3, the Ravens have the best record in the conference, which is powered by strong offensive and defensive units.

Their defense has been particularly solid this year, as they allow 15.6 points per game, the second-best mark in the league.

With this in mind, in a recent press conference shared by reporter Jeff Zrebiec, linebackers coach Chuck Smith said “We want to lead the league in beating up quarterbacks.”

This could be taken in a myriad of ways.

The first, and most obvious, is that Smith wants his defensive line to get to the quarterbacks early, pressuring them into making bad decisions.

Smith is not likely calling upon his team to hurt, or beat up opposing quarterbacks, though his comments could be construed as such.

Regardless of his intention, Smith does appear hungry for his team to continue their dominance.

The Ravens have two linebackers with over 100 tackles, an indication that they have some of the best linebackers in the league.

Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen are in the top 12 of total tackles on the season.

If they can keep this up, and inspire the other, younger players on their team, the Ravens will continue to be a menacing defensive unit.

With upcoming games looming against the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, and Miami Dolphins, the Ravens will want to put their best foot forward on defense to maintain their standing as a top AFC team.
