Cleveland Browns Snap Counts & Analysis vs Baltimore Ravens

Here is a look at the Cleveland Browns snaps counts.

We will look at how they shaped up on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball as well as who was out there for special teams.

Then we will take a week by week look on how it has changed throughout the season position room by position room.

OFFENSE – THIS WEEK

Here is a look at the offensive players from this weeks game, ordered by amount of snaps played.

DEFENSE – THIS WEEK

Here is a look at the defensive players from this weeks game, ordered by amount of snaps played.

SPECIAL TEAMS – THIS WEEK

Here is a look at who played on special teams this weeks game, ordered by amount of snaps played. We will only show players that played at least one special teams snap here. To see who has played none or the total across the entire team scroll to the end of the article.

QUARTERBACKS

Hopefully we see Watson dominate the snaps until the end of the season, a week 18 benching because we have wrapped up the division wouldn’t go a miss though.

RUNNING BACKS

It appears the early season usage of empty has been ended for the season which makes sense with how much better it has gone. Strong is limited to specials now unless he gets his pass blocking improved.

WIDE RECEIVERS

It was interesting to see wide receiver usage jump again after a down week last week. The main three dominated and left next to not chances for the players behind them.

TIGHT ENDS

With the tackle injuries I bet everyone would have assumed more tight end usage compared to last week instead we saw a below average amount of tight ends against the Ravens.

OFFENSIVE LINE

Firstly it is shocking how many players are on this list as you ideally only want five offensive linemen playing snaps across the season. I assumed we would see more additional linemen but instead it fell back to average after a season high last week.

EDGES

Garrett played an insanely high amount of snaps this week and still managed to deliver back to back sacks later in the game. Keeping the defense to between 50-60 snaps a game means he can play a bigger percentage than last year.

DEFENSIVE TACKLES

It was very much business as usual for the defensive tackles, around 60% of Tomlinson and then 40% for everyone else. This seems to be Schwartz formula for rotating the line. So in the offseason if they are looking at a player they need to be able to contribute on their 40%.

LINEBACKERS

They played their highest amount of linebacker snaps on the season, up from the 2.05 last time they played the Ravens. All three linebackers got high usage with JOK leading the group in a matchup that lead to him being drafted. Field’s usage fell dramatically in the game compared to what we have seen in previous weeks.
