Southampton striker Paul Onuachu struggled to make an impression in his first few months at the club and was loaned out in the summer, but journalist Dean Jones has now revealed to GIVEMESPORT that he may be given another chance at St Mary’s Stadium in the future.

According to Sky Sports, Onuachu joined the Saints in January 2023 for a cost of £18 million from Belgian club Genk. The towering forward was unable to assist the side avoid relegation to the Championship after failing to live up to his price tag in England’s top division.

After a paucity of minutes with the Saints, Onuachu was loaned away during the summer transfer window, and he’s begun to regain his goalscoring form. Although the 29-year-old struggled to make an impact in a Southampton shirt, there is an argument that he wasn’t given enough chances to impress.
