Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions isn’t thrilled with his team’s 29-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. To make matters worse, the former Pro Bowler was fined just two days later for a play that occurred two games ago. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Amon-Ra St. Brown was fined $34,709 for a block in his team’s Week 11 game against Chicago.

St. Brown is working to the safety during a David Montgomery run, and the wideout makes contact with Bears safety Jaquan Brisker. Despite the fact that the USC product barely touches the third-level defender, the NFL and Roger Goodell took issue with him leading with the helmet. The league continues to sanction violators, particularly rushers. St. Brown, on the other hand, broke the trend by receiving a monetary penalty despite not carrying the football.
