One of Leeds’ latest transfer targets for the youth setup was England youth international Mason Cotcher, who turned down the chance to pen professional terms at Sunderland in order to assess his options.

He underwent trial periods at Arsenal, Manchester United and then Leeds as he clearly looks to be avoiding a rushed decision this early in his career.
The Telegraph claimed that Leeds had been impressed with the versatile forward’s two goals in four games in Leeds colours, offering him a contract to sign on permanently with the club.
Cotcher now on trial with Ipswich Town – Report
As it looked like Leeds had landed their man with a contract on the table, they now appear to be waiting for Cotcher to make his decision.
That’s because East Anglian Daily Times have reported that his latest trial stint comes at Leeds’ promotion rivals Ipswich Town, featuring for their U21s against Rotherham United, scoring in the process.
