Fans celebrates as Ipswich Town finally agree deal to sign Premier League striker

Ipswich Town have reportedly agreed a deal to sign former striker Kieffer Moore on loan from Bournemouth.

According to reports from both Mark McAdam and talkSPORT’s Alex Crook, the Blues will welcome back the 31-year-old to Portman Road before tonight’s deadline.

Although, this is reportedly subject to the Cherries signing Getafe forward Enes Unal, who is currently undergoing a medical in Madrid.

Both stated that the deal contains bonuses should Town get promoted to the Premier League.

Moore joined the Portman Road outfit under Mick McCarthy in January 2017, only made 11 appearances for the Blues and failed to find the back of the net in the year that he was at the club.

Town sent him out on loan to Rotherham for half of the 2017/18 campaign where he scored 13 times in 25 appearances for the Millers.

Since then the Welsh international has gone onto play for Barnsley, Wigan, Cardiff and Bournemouth while also representing his country at Euro 2020, at which he scored on his first appearance in the tournament, as well as the 2022 World Cup.

This season, Moore has made only eight appearances in the Premier League with all of them coming from the bench.

Town have already welcomed one striker through the door so far this window, after Ali Al-Hamidi signed for the Blues on Monday.
