Fans in tears as Alabama WR Jalen Hale releases statement after suffering a lower body injury

Alabama’s offense will be without a playmaking wide receiver for the rest of spring practice.

Jalen Hale, a sophomore from Longview, Texas, suffered a lower body injury on Tuesday.

Sources close to Touchdown Alabama Magazine confirmed it was a knee injury.

The 6-foot-1, 189-pounder was in a position to challenge for a starting spot as the X-receiver, but now Crimson Tide fans want him to make a strong recovery.

He received a lot of text and phone calls from fans praying the best for him in his recovery.

Hale, who came in the 2023 signing class, thanked everyone for supporting him.

He showed potential as a freshman in 2023, working his way into 13 games.

Hale caught five passes for 148 yards, including a 33-yard reception for a touchdown versus Ole Miss at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

He assisted the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship; however, the hope is that Alabama can have Hale back in time for fall camp and next season
