Naeshaun Montgomery earned an offer from the new football staff at the University of Alabama.
Montgomery is a 2025 four-star wide receiver out of Miami Central High School in Florida. He holds more than 35 college football offers with offers from Georgia, Florida State, Ohio State and several others.
An offer from Alabama is one Montgomery has thought about in the past.
“Growing up seeing the big-time guys go to a big-time program, really made me sit back and be like I want to be like them and go to a school like that,” Montgomery told Touchdown Alabama. “I had my eyes on Alabama for quite some time.”
Alabama football is under a new regime after Nick Saban retired and the university hired Kalen DeBoer to be the Tide’s next head coach. Montgomery knows what DeBoer and his staff accomplished at Washington, and he is interested in seeing what they can build in Tuscaloosa.
“I’m excited to see if they can do the same things they did in Washington,” said Montgomery.
The Florida product is a smooth wideout, who does damage in the redzone with his ability to quickly create space using deception and acceleration. He can also create separation off the line of scrimmage with his quickness out of releases to go along with his solid hands
