We have seen Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer and several assistant coaches hit the recruiting trail in a big way over the last two weeks. Countless offers/re-offers have been handed out, new Junior Day visitors have been confirmed and relationships continue to get established.
There are also assistant coaches constantly making phone calls to high school prospects like co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Colin Hitschler, who joined the Alabama staff after one season with Wisconsin in the same role.
One of those call was made to four-star linebacker Anthony Sacca, the No. 6 prospect in Philadelphia, per the 247Sports Player Rankings. Sacca was informed he had an Alabama offer on Tuesday and immediately confirmed plans with Bama247 that he will be in Tuscaloosa for Junior Day on Feb. 3.
Bama247 caught up with the 6-foot-3, 225-pounder for some initial thoughts on Alabama. We will connect again following the weekend.
