Stephen Hendry was asked about women’s world champion Baipat Siripaporn ahead of her appearance at the Champion of Champions tournament – but couldn’t answer
Snooker legend Stephen Hendry shocked ITV host Jill Douglas as he admitted he’d never seen women’s world champion Baipat Siripaporn play.
Hendry, 54, was working as a pundit for the opening day of the Champion of Champions tournament on Tuesday (November 14), which Siripaporn is competing in. She won her first world title back in March, beating China’s Bai Yulu 6-3 in her native Thailand.
Ahead of her clash with Judd Trump later this week, Douglas said: “Another player who is here is the women’s world champion, Baipat Siripaporn. Great to have her included. How impressed have you been with her play?”
