Just in: Michigan expected back to see QB commit Carter Smith

A new era of Michigan football has started with Sherrone Moore being promoted and recently named the new head coach of the program.

He and his staff have hit the recruiting trail and a pair of coaches are expected to stop by the school of their top commit this cycle.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder is considered one of the best at his position and holds over 30 scholarship offers.

The Maize and Blue offered the talented pass-catcher back in April and welcomed him to campus over the summer. He originally was committed to Note Dame in June before he reopening his recruitment just a few months later.

Ohio State leads the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Nate Roberts with both predictions favoring the Buckeyes.

Roberts sits as the No. 107 overall prospect in the 2025 class, the No. 4 tight end in the nation and the No. 2 player in Kansas for his class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
