Leeds €20m Left Winger becomes an aerial of FOCUS for Chelsea and Liverpool side…

Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle for the signature of Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville this summer.

Summerville won the Championship Player of the Year after a stellar campaign at Elland Road, but was unable to guide Leeds back to the Premier League as they were beaten 1-0 by Southampton in the play-off final on Sunday.

Leeds are set to be raided by Premier League clubs, with Mail Sport revealing on Monday that they owe other teams £190m in transfer instalments, and Summerville looks likely to leave before the start of next season.

According to The Sun, Chelsea and Liverpool are in pole position for the 22-year-old, but there is also interest from three other top flight clubs.

West HamFulham and Bournemouth are also keen on Summerville, although none of those three sides will be able to offer him European football next season.

Summerville is valued at around £35-40m, having scored 21 goals in all competitions for Daniel Farke‘s men in 2023-24.

He is capable of playing on either wing, and his versatility and work rate is understood to appeal to incoming Liverpool boss Arne Slot.

Mohamed Salah and Luiz Diaz have both been linked with moves away from Anfield this summer, and Summerville may be viewed as a potential replacement.

He could also become one of Enzo Maresca’s first signings at Chelsea, with the Italian expected to be named the new Blues boss imminently after Mauricio Pochettino left Stamford Bridge by mutual consent last week.

Leeds look likely to offload several first-team stars in the off-season as they prepare for another year in the Championship.

Wilfried Gnonto and teenage ace Archie Gray could both be moved on following strong campaigns under Farke.
