Luton in heavy battle for same Player Leicester – Foxes with an advantage as agent talks scheduled

Leicester City will meet with the agents of Royal Antwerp midfielder Pierre Dwomoh this week to discuss a possible move for the player, who also has inquiries from Luton Town.

That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who reports that Leicester are pushing ahead with a potential bid for the player.

Dwomoh has spent this season on loan at RWDM and been a regular for them, making 33 appearances in all competitions.

The Belgian club have decided not to take up an option to buy him on a permanent basis, though, opening him up for a summer transfer.

Leicester are long-term admirers and were first linked with a move all the way back in December, when it was suggested, they were looking at him as a potential replacement for Wilfred Ndidi, who is set to leave on a free transfer at this moment in time.

It seems their interest has not gone away since then and rather then are pushing ahead with an attempt to try and sign him, although they now face potential competition from Luton Town for the 19-year-old midfielder.

“There is a clear interest from Leicester City,” Tavolieri reported on the player.

“Leicester took information from the player’s entourage and would even be ready, according to several sources, to line up a €3m bid. That’s the amount Royal Antwerp want for him.

“There are discussions planned to take place in person in England in the coming days between the player’s representatives and Leicester in order to find an agreement on an individual basis and then it will therefore be necessary to inquire about an agreement with Antwerp.

“Luton Town also inquired about him. So, there are two solutions, two possibilities for Pierre Dwomoh.”
