According to Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton himself, there is a chance he could return to action during his current four-game road trip. That came after the three-time All-Star missed his 12th straight game in Milwaukee’s disappointing loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
The Bucks have three more road games before returning to Milwaukee, starting Friday night against LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers. Middleton is not expected to return for this game.
While Middleton’s status is causing some optimism, it’s no surprise that the Bucks have already officially ruled him out of Friday’s contest. However, the fact that the team continues to announce his departure more than 24 hours before each game seems to indicate that his return is not as close as we thought.
After Friday’s game in Los Angeles, the Bucks will face the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday and the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. At this point, it seems questionable whether Middleton will be available for these games.
