Recruits will be able to unofficially visit soon, with official visits coming sooner than you think.

We have officially moved the calendar to March. Not only does the NCAA Tournament begin this month, but high school football players will also be able to begin taking unofficial visits to colleges of interest after the dead period ends. In today’s recruiting roundup, we’ll take a look at some of the prospects being pursued by the Michigan Wolverines, who are planning a visit to Ann Arbor in the near future.

Central bank major facility plans two visits to Ann Arbor

One of Michigan State’s top targets at the cornerback position (a position Michigan State desperately needs in the 2025 cycle) is four-star Mark Zachary IV. Zachary, an Indianapolis native, received an offer from the Wolverines last May, followed by big offers from Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, Florida and others.

Zachary last visited Ann Arbor in October, and his near future will mark his first return to campus since then. According to On3’s Zach Libby ($), Zachery will play in the University of Michigan’s spring game on April 20th and will return for an official visit a few months later on the weekend of June 14th.

Michigan will have some work to do, as his visit in October was with then-defensive coordinator Jesse Minter. But the continuity between head coach Sherron Moore and the University of Michigan’s prestigious academics appears to be enough of a draw for Zachary to remain interested in the program.

“My favorite thing about the entire school, including the Ross School of Business, is how they learn as a team,” Zachary said. “Obviously winning the national championship also stands out because Coach Moore is the offensive coordinator.

“Having graduate programs at all of the schools, including Notre Dame and Michigan State, played a big role in my recruitment.”

The 5-foot-10.5, 164-pound athlete recently had top-four finishes at Michigan, Notre Dame, Cincinnati and Florida State. The Fighting Irish are leading with two Crystal Ball predictions, but anything could happen between now and he commits. We need to know more about what’s going to go through his head in the coming months. A four-star WR is scheduled to come to Japan next month.

2025 four-star wide receiver Taz Williams Jr. is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to Michigan State on April 7, according to Bryce Marich of Michigan Insider ($).

Additionally, Williams was scheduled to take unofficial visits to Texas A&M on March 26, Alabama on April 1, Ohio State on April 8 and Texas on April 20. He is scheduled to take an official visit to the University of Southern California over the weekend of May 17, according to his 247Sports profile.

This isn’t Williams’ first visit to Michigan, but it’s been nearly a year since he last visited town. Ron Bellamy and Williams will have to catch up, and Williams will also have to contend with new head coach Sherron Moore. Williams said academics were a big selling point during his visit last spring, so Michigan will likely be the focus of this recruiting effort, regardless of how Williams feels about the changes underway. right. Williams had 80 receptions for 1,251 yards (15.6 yards per catch) and 14 touchdowns as a junior last fall. That’s a big improvement from his sophomore season, when he had 31 receptions for 582 yards and five touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 191-pound Williams is ranked No. 249 overall by 247Sports and No. 29 and No. 42 among Texas players.

4 star DB plans from OV to UM

Visiting season will be here before you know it. And one highly touted prospect already has his sights set on a weekend in Ann Arbor. According to 247Sports’ Tyler Carvaluso ($), 2025 four-star defensive tackle Jadon Blair is already planning an official road trip schedule this summer. He will commit to Virginia Tech on April 12, the University of South Carolina on May 31, Notre Dame on June 7, the University of Michigan on June 14 and Penn State on June 21. . In addition, Prime Minister Blair is scheduled to make unofficial visits to Pennsylvania (March 15), Michigan (March 21) and South Carolina (April 19) this spring.

“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t hear from Michigan State,” Blair recently told 247 Sports’ Tom Roy. “We can talk about the stadium, education, and anything simple. They write to me and check on me. Even when they found a new head coach, they tested me. Happy birthday to new head coach Sheron Moore, who was originally the offensive coordinator. I think my main recruiter was Coach (Sam) Popper. He’s great.”

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Blair had 35 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery last fall as a junior. He is ranked No. 153 overall, No. 13 at the safety position and No. 5 in North Carolina.
