Rotherham United and Bristol Rovers have fascinating management positions, presenting opportunity for both veterans and up-and-coming coaches in the EFL.
Pete Wild, the current manager of Barrow, deserves to be considered for these roles because of his track record of success and capacity to develop teams.
While Bristol Rovers’ attacking outlets appear to be a strong fit for Wild, choosing the Rotherham position would be a better fit owing to location and the potential to foster players in a Championship survival battle.
As per usual in most EFL seasons, there is a handful of managerial vacancies despite the 2023-24 campaign not even being halfway through yet.
