Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich has praised Manchester City loanee Joao Cancelo as “one of the best in the world” and urged club officials to sign him on a permanent basis.
Cancelo contributed a goal and an assist in Bayern’s 5-3 victory over Augsburg at home. The 28-year-old right-back had not played for the Bavarians since February, but he impressed during the game.
Cancelo was loaned to Bayern for the remainder of the league season in January 2023.
