On Wednesday evening, AC Milan and Napoli will meet off in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo of the Partenopei believes it will be a close game between two talented teams.
Milan have a tiny psychological advantage after their 4-0 success at the Maradona last weekend, and it appears Victor Osimhen will not be available for the game. Napoli, on the other hand, has had recent success at San Siro.
Di Lorenzo discussed the crucial match with DAZN last night, as reported by MilanNews. He suggested that Napoli must be energetic, maybe referring to their lack of fight in the 4-0 loss to Milan.
“Milan? We will start thinking about the game tomorrow (today, editor’s note). We must face it calmly and continue to do what has brought us to first place in the standings. We need to be carefree and enthusiastic, and then we’ll figure out how to handle the game strategically with the manager,” he said.
The game is set for 21:00 on Wednesday, and Stefano Pioli is anticipated to field the same lineup that won 4-0. In other words, Simon Kjaer and Rade Krunic will return to the starting lineup.
