Last week, Brazile officially announced he was withdrawing from the 2024 NBA Draft and was keeping his options completely open for his next spot. Back on May 1, Brazile announced his entry into to the transfer portal in order to keep his options open while going through the draft process.
Brazile’s decision to enter the transfer portal was the second time he has chosen to do so during his college career. The 6-10, 220-pound forward originally transferred to Arkansas ahead of the 2022-23 season after just one year at Missouri.
In his first season with the Razorbacks, Brazile was averaging 11.8 points per game and 6.0 rebounds through nine games as a sophomore before suffering a torn ACL in his right knee on Dec. 6, 2023.
The Springfield (Mo.) native made his long-awaited return this past year as a redshirt sophomore before ‘knee soreness’ caused him to miss the second half of the Ole Miss game on Jan. 24 just 19 games into the season. He was averaging 8.9 points per game and 6.5 rebounds before his injury.
Brazile returned for the final seven games of the 2023-24 season, averaging 7.7 points and 4.1 rebounds in 20 minutes per game. For the year, Brazile averaged 8.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks on 49/35/70 shooting splits.
Before the season, Brazile was viewed as a potential lottery pick thanks to the explosive leaping ability and decent shooting range he showed prior to the injury, but he never showed the same explosiveness after his return. Now, Brazile appears to be 100% healthy and ready to play for the Razorbacks next season.

2022-23 (Sr. at Arkansas):
- Suffered a season-ending knee (ACL) injury in the first half of the UNC Greensboro game (game nine of the season).

- Ranked third in the SEC (47th in the NCAA) in blocked shots (1.92 average) … Was sixth among NCAA Division I freshmen in blocked shots per game … His 1.92 blocks per game ranks third on the Missouri single-season list.
- Had a blocked shot in 20 of his 24 games played … Recorded a block in 12-straight games, including a stretch of 11-straight with multiple blocks.
- Had a career-high six blocks against Illinois, which tied for the fourth-most in a single game by any Mizzou player and the third-most by any MU freshman … Added 11 points.
- Scored a season-high 15 points in the Tigers’ season finale versus LSU in the SEC Tournament.
- Had a season-high 10 rebounds with four blocked shots in the Tigers’ regular-season finale versus Georgia, including five offensive boards.
- Made a season-high 2-of-3 from 3-point range and scored 10 points with two blocked shots at Kansas.
- Recorded 11 points at LSU.
