Some practical tips and things to be aware of if you are attending Brentford’s Premier League match against West Ham
Brentford take on West Ham United on Monday 26 February (8pm kick-off). The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
If you are heading to the London Stadium on Monday, here is everything you need to know to ensure you are ready for your visit.
Getting to London Stadium
London Stadium is the 66,000-capacity home to the Hammers. It is well connected by train and bus with multiple stations a short walk from the stadium. The stadium sits close to Westfield Stratford City where a variety of shops and restaurants are located.

Travel and transport
Train
The nearest station to the ground is Stratford, which is a 20-minute walk from the stadium. For travel from the city centre, Stratford station is served by the Jubilee line, Central line and Elizabeth line, the DLR, the Overground, as well as National Rail for supporters travelling from outside the city.
The stadium is also a short walk from Stratford International, Pudding Mill Lane and Hackney Wick stations, which are all connected by TFL services.
There is no planned rail strike on matchday. Please use the Transport for London journey planner to check your route before setting off.
Bus
Stratford Bus Station and Stratford City Bus Station are located close to Stratford Station. Buses that run to these stations are numbers: 25, 86, 97, 104, 108, 158, 241, 257, 262, 276, 308, 425, 473, D8.
It is not advised to travel by car
Driving to London Stadium is not recommended and, instead, you are encouraged to use the many public transport options available.
For those driving to the match, the London Stadium is a green stadium and a public transport destination and does not offer public car parking.
The closest car park to the stadium is at Stratford Westfield, but be aware that matchdays will incur road closures around the venue that may disrupt your journey.

Bike
Cyclists can make use of the London Cycle Superhighway, extending from central London (Aldgate) to Stratford City. The closest docking stations to the stadium are at Copper Box Arena, London Aquatics Centre, Monier Road, The Podium and at Stratford Station.
Ticketing information
All away ticket collections are available at window five of the north stand ticket office, near turnstile J.
Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to West Ham by the Brentford box office. Please contact Brentford’s box office with any inquiries ahead of the matchday.
If you’re collecting your ticket at the London Stadium, please remember to bring ID.
We would also like to remind fans travelling to London Stadium to observe and respect the family friendly seating. Anyone who holds a ticket in the family friendly seating area is reminded that they should be seated for the duration of the match.
Your matchday at London Stadium
Away turnstiles at London Stadium will open 90 minutes before kick-off.
Away pubs in the local vicinity of London Stadium mainly welcome home supporters. Bees fans who are looking for a drink or bite to eat are recommended to use Westfield Stratford City.
The area outside of turnstile D (away turnstiles) is exclusively available to away supporters after the match. This zone is in place for the safety of all supporters and to enable all supporters to leave the stadium via designated walking routes to public transport hubs and the visiting supporters’ coach parking.
Raising awareness of violence against women and girls
We’re joining forces with West Ham United the MET and the London Stadium to help raise awareness of VAWG (Violence against Women and Girls) at the fixture.
An information point near Bridge 2 will provide supporters with the opportunity to pop in and learn more about VAWG and how to report specific issues linked to this topic.
West Ham United wants to make sure it is doing all it can to ensure the matchday experience at London Stadium is a safe space for supporters and the wider community. In addition to the information point, the stadium’s big screen will also carry messaging to assist with the campaign.
