What a wonderful news: The Florida State ‘Purge’ Would Begin With A $140 Million Star

Hugh Freeze and Auburn’s coaching staff are working feverishly to round up the Tigers’ already-impressive 2024 recruiting class as Early Signing Day approaches on December 20th.

After successfully luring 5-star wide receiver Cam Coleman away from Texas A&M last week, Freeze has been relentless in his efforts to influence another 5-star, safety KJ Bolden, who has been committed to Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles since Aug. 5.

According to 247Sports, Bolden is the No. 1 safety in the country and the third-best recruit from Georgia.

According to On3′s Jeffrey Lee, Bolden visited The Plains on Monday, which has social media buzzing over Auburn’s late-season drive for the blue-chip defensive back.

Even current Auburn players began campaigning for the 5-star Peach State safety.

Not to be outdone, however, Freeze took the trip to Buford, Ga. on Wednesday afternoon to visit Bolden, making for the pair’s second meeting in three days.

From the sounds of it, Bolden’s recruitment might be all but over as Auburn continues its efforts to flip him away from Florida State, while also fending off Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, who have also been players in Bolden’s recruiting process.
