With a calf injury, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, but the Swede isn’t giving up just yet. In truth, he wishes to attend AC Milan’s match versus Hellas Verona.
Ibrahimovic noticed a twinge in his leg while warming up on the sidelines during Milan-Lecce, and examinations later revealed a ‘lesion to the medial twin muscle of the right calf’. An injury that would finish most people’s seasons.
Tuttosport (via MilanLive) reports that Ibrahimovic hasn’t given up and is doing everything he can to speed up his rehabilitation. Of course, considering his age, this is a daunting challenge, but the striker wants to be available for Milan-Hellas Verona on June 4th (the season’s last game).
It’s a big game for him because his departure at the conclusion of the season looks extremely likely. Even if only for a few minutes, his appearance would be a pleasant memory for both him and the Milan fans.
