Several Wrexham stars will be rocking new shirt numbers in the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Wrexham’s 2024/25 League One season will begin on Saturday, August 10th, versus Wycombe Wanderers
Matt Bloomfield and Wycombe are shaping up nicely ahead of facing Wrexham and should prove a stern test for Phil Parkinson and co. next weekend.
As they gear up for the new season, the Welsh outfit have had a hectic pre-season, which included a tour in the West Coast of America.
Wrexham drew 1-1 with AFC Bournemouth to kick off the US-based portion of their pre-season.
This was followed by Parkinson’s side securing a 2-2 with Chelsea. The club’s final fixture before the 2024/25 season begins took place on Saturday, August 3rd, against Fleetwood Town.
Five Wrexham players handed new shirt numbers
Ahead of Wrexham’s most recent outing, an insight into the first-team squad’s new shirt numbers for 2024/25 has been provided.
Arthur Okonkwo spent the 2023/24 campaign on loan in Wales from Premier League outfit Arsenal.
The goalkeeper made 40 appearances and kept 16 clean sheets for Parkinson’s side.
Okonkwo has since returned to the Racecourse Ground on a free transfer during the current window.
And as per Leader Live, Okonkwo, who had the number 33 shirt last term, is now Wrexham’s number one.
Another four Wrexham stars have also seen their shirt numbers changed for the new season.
Max Cleworth was number 32 and is now number four, Tom O’Connor has taken up the number six shirt, Eoghan O’Connell is now number five and Andy Cannon is number eight.

Player shirt numbers are often a major talking point ahead of a new season.
Fans will often place a lot of stock in certain numbers including the coveted number nine, number 10 and number seven.
The Red Dragons’ summer transfer business is yet to be completed with Wrexham ‘front-runners’ to sign Bailey Cadamarteri, so more new shirt numbers could be handed out this month.
