Jack Marriott has now revealed his dream celebrity guest he wants to see visit Wrexham.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds took ownership of the Welsh outfit back in 2021.
It has been nothing but success for the Holywood duo on the pitch since their arrival at the club.
Phil Parkinson was appointed manager in 2022, replacing Dean Keates after he failed to get the club into the play-offs.
Unde Parkinson, meanwhile, Wrexham have now won back-to-back promotions and are playing in League One for the first time in their history.
A third straight promotion could also be on the cards this season. Wrexham beat Crawley Town 2-1 on Saturday and are joint-top of the division along with Tom Brady’s Birmingham City.
Brady was in attendance at St Andrew’s last Monday to watch his side get one over on the Red Dragons.
But he is not the only famous face to watch Wrexham in action since McElhenney and Reynolds started running things.
Jack Marriott names dream Wrexham celebrity guest
David Beckham helped inspire Wrexham’s 2024/25 kits and has watched the club several times.
The ex-Manchester United ace is just one of many famous names to grace the Racecourse Ground in the last few years.
Several of Reynolds’ co-stars have made the trip to Wales, including Will Ferrell and Hugh Jackman.
Now, speaking to Sky Sports News recently, Jack Marriot has revealed that he would ‘love’ Adam Sandler to come and watch Wrexham play.
He said: “I’m a big comedy fan so someone like Adam Sandler.
“We share the same birthday, which I discovered the other day, but I’m a big fan of his, I’d love to see him.”
Why Adam Sandler may not see Jack Marriott play for Wrexham
Given who their owners mix with outside of football, getting Sanlder to visit Wrexham is by no means out of the question.
However, even if the Hollywood A-lister does make the trip to Wales, Marriott may not be on the pitch to show off his skills.
The striker has had a superb start to the 2024/25 campaign but has already fallen down the striker pecking order.
Parkinson dropped Marriott for Mullin this past weekend despite the fact he has scored four in six this season.
The former Fleetwood Town man may now struggle to get back into the starting line-up as Mullin and Ollie Palmer are the favoured partnership of Parkinson.
As well as Mullin, Marriott is competing with Wrexham’s record-signing Modou Faal, who himself may already be questioning his future at the club after failing to start a league game since his summer arrival from West Bromwich Albion.
