4-2-3-1 Lineup: Leeds United vs Crystal Palace as Javi Gracia eyes back-to-back wins

Leeds United moved out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night. And they’ll be hoping to do so again when Crystal Palace visits Elland Road on Sunday.

Roy Hodgson made his second debut as Palace manager with a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at Selhurst Park, thanks to Jean-Philippe Mateta’s dramatic 94th-minute winner.

The Eagles begin the weekend one place and one point ahead of Leeds, and are currently three points clear of the drop zone.

After recovering from an ankle injury sustained during the international break, Wilfried Gnonto returned to the bench against Forest but was not called upon by Javi Gracia.

Max Wober is still recovering from a thigh muscle injury, and Tyler Adams is also out after undergoing thigh surgery.

In other news, Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas remain long-term absentees, and Leeds are expected to make few changes after winning in midweek.

With Luis Sinisterra only recently returning from injury, Gracia may consider starting Crysencio Summerville, and he has Rodrigo as an alternative option to lead the line in place of Patrick Bamford.

However, with Leeds not playing for another eight days following the visit of Palace, Gracia may not feel compelled to change a winning lineup.

Leeds starting XI (4-2-3-1): Meslier; Ayling, Koch, Struijk, Firpo; McKennie, Roca; Harrison, Aaronson, Summerville; Bamford.
