Football Pundit’s Bold Declaration: Tottenham Urged to Transform Forward into Elite ‘Attacking Playmaker,’ Drawing Comparisons to Kevin De Bruyne’s Brilliance!

Tottenham Hotspur are blessed to have some of the best technical players in the Premier League.

The benchmark in the whole of Europe is probably someone like Kevin de Bruyne, who has been doing it at the elite level for years and years now.

If you thought someone at Tottenham could be as good as the Manchester City star, the first name that would probably spring to mind is, James Maddison, but think again!

Leroy Rosenior thinks Dejan Kulusevski will eventually transition into a number 10 for Ange Postecoglou’s side and be as good as the Treble winner, as he told Premier League Productions

From Son Heung-min to Brennan Johnson, these Spurs wide players are known for their pace and their ability to change direction in such a way that they can break the opposition players’ ankles.

But their left-footed Swede doesn’t have that acceleration to go past a man, instead, he relies on close control, a very good footballing brain, strong decision-making and a very good technique.

Given that Dejan Kulusevski has all of that in his locker, Leroy Rosenior thinks the flanks are going to become a thing of the past for him and he can see him moving inside.

Dejan Kulusevski as a number 10

“His understanding of the game is second to none,” said Rosenior.

“The question you asked. What’s his best position? I think he will end up as a number ten, for me. I think his understanding of the game is second to none.

“The great players just seem to hold in areas for long periods of time and don’t neutralise their own space.

“He is only 23. You mentioned de Bruyne. Could he be that good? I don’t see why not.

Before the 23-year-old can think about moving anywhere, he has to make sure that he keeps his place in Postecoglou’s XI.

Spurs were dealt a blown in their race to finish in the top four when they suffered a deserved 3-0 defeat at Fulham.

Kulusevski started the game and didn’t impress, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is out of the XI for the home clash against Luton Town after the international break.

Richarlison is back from injury, whilst Brennan Johnson is also an option for the Spurs boss, so forget about playing as a number 10, keep your place in the XI for starters!
